Dawn L. Johnson is the CEO and the founder of the Victory Family Life Center. A new and upcoming non-profit organization that plans to benefit families in the Dayton Ohio area. Dawn was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2004, and in spite of the diagnosis, she has persevered. She gives credit for her perseverance to her strong belief system, faith in God, and faith in the power of His word, which has been a part of her life from home to preschool at Dayton Christian and to Sunday school at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Due to her struggles with Multiple Sclerosis, she was inspired to pen the book “Laughing through Adversity,” where she hopes to inspire others to show persistence and resilience in moving towards their God-ordained purpose. During her struggle, she has completed her Undergraduate degree in Business where she concentrated in Organizational Management. She has earned a Master’s degree in Education. Dawn looks forward to enrolling for a Doctorate degree in Education in Summer 2020.

Dawn has done three tours as a Missionary to the Dominican Republic during her High School and College years. She helped build a school and was able to teach children during her tours. She grew up in the Ohio Baptist General convention where she ultimately served as president of the Youth Auxiliary. Dawn is gifted in public speaking and teaching and has earned awards in those areas. She taught at her previous church, as the Adult Women Sunday schoolteacher. She has also taught around the city of Dayton and across the state of Ohio. She finds delight in sharing the goodness of God and cultivating His love amongst mankind.

Dawn L. Johnson is a Visionary and Servant Leader who believes in family. Growing up as an only child in a single-parent home, Dawn learned by her mother’s example of love for family and community. At an early age, Dawn knew the love and support that her mother demonstrated for families within the community and through the years she aspired to do the same when she grew up.

Today, with her educational experiences, heart to serve others, many prayers, research, preparation, and a keen sense of family and community she created the Victory Family Life Center or (VFLC) for short.

Dawn serves as CEO and Founder of (VFLC), which was established in 2019, she believes that working together every family can be victorious and given the right opportunities that every family can be successful. It is truly her heart’s desire to see that every family that she serves is truly victorious and successful.

Dawn holds a master’s degree from Ashford University in Education and Family Service and a bachelor’s in Organizational Business from Wilberforce University.

Dawn is the mother of one adult child, Mary A. Johnson and is the holder of numerous teaching and oratorical awards.
